生態(tài)代謝理論作為近十年來迅速發(fā)展起來的新理論體系，它極大地推動(dòng)了生態(tài)學(xué)的快速發(fā)展也已成為全球眾多學(xué)者研究和關(guān)注的焦點(diǎn)。最近幾年來，我們始終立足于我國(guó)西北獨(dú)特的生態(tài)環(huán)境，緊扣全球?qū)υ摾碚摷捌湎嚓P(guān)研究領(lǐng)域的最前沿動(dòng)態(tài)。我們已取得了一系列的顯著研究成果，主要有：1）對(duì)在干旱極端環(huán)境條件下，基于代謝理論的植物種群競(jìng)爭(zhēng)理論（自疏法則）和能量平衡法則（Energy equivalence law）進(jìn)行了修正和完善；2）提出了在不同環(huán)境條件下，植物個(gè)體代謝速率與種群密度間存在權(quán)衡關(guān)系（Trade-offs relationship），并得到了很好的實(shí)驗(yàn)驗(yàn)證；3）建立了植物冠層隨種群密度或競(jìng)爭(zhēng)強(qiáng)度增加植物個(gè)體對(duì)資源利用速率或生長(zhǎng)速率變化的模型，進(jìn)而預(yù)測(cè)了植物個(gè)體平均生物量-密度間異速指數(shù)和代謝速率-個(gè)體大小間異速指數(shù)的變化規(guī)律；4）我們還基于植物生長(zhǎng)模型和代謝理論建立了植物種群最適密度模型，可以用于預(yù)測(cè)不同物種在不同成熟個(gè)體大小狀況下的最適密度；我們也基于代謝理論對(duì)物種多樣性-環(huán)境溫度-面積大小間比例關(guān)系進(jìn)行了修正和完善。近年來，發(fā)表論文今20篇，其中以第一作者在國(guó)際著名期刊Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences(PNAS)、Journal of Ecology和PLoS ONE 等雜志上發(fā)表研究論文。先后主持教育部“新世紀(jì)優(yōu)秀人才支持計(jì)劃”、國(guó)家自然科學(xué)青年基金及面上項(xiàng)目、教育部科學(xué)技術(shù)重點(diǎn)項(xiàng)目及春暉計(jì)劃等課題8項(xiàng)；參與國(guó)家自然科學(xué)基金重點(diǎn)項(xiàng)目1項(xiàng)和國(guó)際合作項(xiàng)目2項(xiàng)。
