研究方向

1.植物生理生態(tài)學針對西北高寒、干旱和鹽漬環(huán)境下植物的種類、形態(tài)特征和群落特征進行研究；闡述植物在宏觀和微觀水平上的抗性機制及其生態(tài)學意義。
2.環(huán)境生物學主要針對極端環(huán)境下微生物的多樣性及其抗逆機制進行研究。
3.生物質(zhì)能源主要針對寒區(qū)沼氣厭氧發(fā)酵技術(shù)進行研究。

1998年入選中科院“西部之光”人才培養(yǎng)計劃、2001年入選中科院 “百人計劃”，2002年入選教育部“跨世紀優(yōu)秀人才培養(yǎng)計劃”和“中國科學院優(yōu)秀博士后”。在中科院寒區(qū)旱區(qū)環(huán)境與工程研究所國家重點實驗室和以色列巴伊蘭大學(Bar-Ilan University) 從事了兩期博士后研究。2006年獲“國家杰出青年基金”。2010年入選甘肅省領(lǐng)軍人才。一直從事有關(guān)植物分子生物學、環(huán)境植物學和分子生態(tài)學方面的教學和科研工作。近年主持了國家轉(zhuǎn)基因新品種培育重大專項、科技部國際合作項目、中國科學院“百人計劃”項目、教育部科技基礎(chǔ)條件平臺項目、國家自然科學基金面上項目和“中國西部環(huán)境和生態(tài)科學重大研究計劃”項目、甘肅省農(nóng)業(yè)生物技術(shù)研究與應(yīng)用開發(fā)項目等各類科研項目，在國內(nèi)外學術(shù)刊物上發(fā)表論文210余篇，其中SCI刊物收錄80余篇，編寫專著4部，申請發(fā)明專利8項，省級鑒定成果兩項，獲教育部高等學校自然科學獎一等獎1項。
