從五邑大學(xué)研究生處獲悉，2024年五邑大學(xué)碩士研究生招生904綜合英語考試大綱及參考書目已發(fā)布，內(nèi)容如下：

一、基本要求

綜合英語是五邑大學(xué)外國語學(xué)院招收教育專業(yè)類別學(xué)科教學(xué)（英語）（045108） 領(lǐng)域碩士學(xué)位研究生自命題考試科目。

本科目主要考查考生是否系統(tǒng)掌握英語基本知識、基礎(chǔ)理論和基本技能, 并 能運用相關(guān)知識、理論和技能分析、解決英語運用過程中的實際問題。

二、內(nèi)容范圍

1.寫作材料。涉及體裁涵蓋便條、信函、通用公文、材料作文和議論文、記 述文、說明文等常用文體寫作，內(nèi)容切題,概括全面,結(jié)構(gòu)嚴謹,理據(jù)充分,條理清 楚,語言通順,表達得體。

2.閱讀材料。涉及一般英美報刊雜志上的社論和書評以及一般歷史傳記及文 學(xué)作品，理解閱讀材料的主旨大意并能夠進行分析、判斷和推理，能夠分辨細節(jié)、 把握思想觀點、語篇結(jié)構(gòu)、語言特點、修辭手法、隱含意義等方面。在閱讀中根 據(jù)需要自覺調(diào)整閱讀速度和閱讀技巧。

3.語言知識。涉及系統(tǒng)的英語語法以及在基本的社交和學(xué)術(shù)情境中常用英語 詞匯和短語搭配。

4.翻譯材料。涉及要求運用漢譯英及英譯漢理論與技巧，對從報刊雜志或文 學(xué)作品上抽取的漢語或英語材料進行翻譯。文本涵蓋政治、經(jīng)濟、文化、社會、 文學(xué)、歷史、語言、新聞等內(nèi)容。譯文要求忠實原意、語句通順。

三、題型結(jié)構(gòu)

試卷滿分共 150 分，主要題型結(jié)構(gòu)如下：

1.英語寫作（約占 33%）大、小作文各 1 題；大作文涵蓋材料作文和議論文、 記述文、說明文等常用文體寫作，字數(shù) 400-600 詞，共 35 分；小作文涵蓋 便條、信函、通用公文等寫作，字數(shù) 150-200 詞，共 15 分。

題目樣例：（1）The number of British universities offering specialist modern-language courses is in sharp decline. This collapse might be partly down to the rise of free translation software such as Google

Translate. Is it possible that automatic translation technology will eliminate foreign language learning? Write an essay of about 400 words to state your view.
（2）For this part, you are allowed 15 minutes to write an email  (at least 150 words) to an American friend of yours, who is considering  joining a cultural exchange program in China. He is worrying about  his Chinese proficiency level and limited knowledge of Chinese culture. Please give him  some advice on the following aspects: 1. how to boost  his confidence; 2. how to get culturally prepared for the program.

2. 英語閱讀（約占 20%）4-7 篇文章，每篇文章設(shè) 2-5 個問題，根據(jù)文章內(nèi) 容對所給出的問題從備選的 A、B、C、D 四個答案中選擇一個正確答案，共 30 小題，每小題 1 分，共 30 分。

題目樣例：How do you measure progress? That is the question Kyle Van Houtan, an ecologist at the Monterey Bay Aquarium, in California, found himself asking when he faced the task of working out whether methods of boosting the populations of endangered species in the wild have improved over the years.

3.英語詞匯與結(jié)構(gòu)（約占 13%）單項選擇題共 20 小題，每小題 1 分，共 20 分。）

4.英漢互譯（約占 34%）英漢互譯題：漢譯英和英譯漢文章各一篇，各占 25 分，共 50 分。題目樣例：（1）For this part, you are required to translated the following passage from Chinese into English.

由小學(xué)到中學(xué)，所修習(xí)的無非是一些普通的基本知識。就是大學(xué)四年， 所授課業(yè)也還是相當粗淺的學(xué)識。世人常稱大學(xué)為“最高學(xué)府 ”，這名稱易 滋誤解，好像過此以上即無學(xué)問可言。大學(xué)的研究所才是初步研究學(xué)問的所 在，在這里做學(xué)問也只能算是初涉藩籬，注重的是研究學(xué)問的方法與實習(xí)。 學(xué)無止境，一生的時間都嫌太短，所以古人皓首窮經(jīng)，頭發(fā)白了還是在繼續(xù) 研究，不過在這樣的研究中確是有濃厚的趣味。

（2）For this part, you are required to translated the following passage from English into Chinese.

If you look around at the men and women whom you can call happy, you will see that they all have certain things in common. The most important of these things is an activity which at most gradually builds up something that you are glad to see coming into existence. Women who take an instinctive pleasure in their children can get this kind of satisfaction out of bringing up a family. Artists and authors and men of science get happiness in this way if their own work seems good to them. But there are many humbler forms of the same kind of pleasure. Many men who spend their working life in the city devote their weekends to voluntary and unremunerated toil in their gardens, and when the spring comes, they experience all the joys of having created beauty.

本科目考試形式為閉卷，考試時間為 180 分鐘，不需要計算器及作圖用具， 不使用詞典。
