            QingYangreceivedhisB.S.inInorganicChemicalEngineeringfromHefeiUniversityofTechnology(HUT)in1989,andheworkedatLaboratoryofInorganicChemicalEngineeringofAnhuiProvincialResearchInstituteofChemicalIndustry.In1999,hereceivedhisM.S.inAppliedChemistryfromHUT.AfterthathemovedtotheUniversityofScienceandTechnologyofChina(USTC)asaPh.D.candidateandreceivedhisPh.D.inInorganicChemistryfromUSTCin2002.Fromthenon,hejoinedtheDepartmentofChemistryofUSTCasafaculty.HeworkedasaVisitingAssociateProfessorinCityUniversityofHongKong(CityU)fromJulytoOctober2008supportedbyCityU,andalsoasavisitingscholarinBrownUniversityfromSeptember2009toJanuary2010,grantedbyCross-DisciplinaryProjectAwardin2009fromK.C.WongFoundationofHongKong,ChineseAcademyofSciences(CAS).In2006,hereceivedSecond-ClassNaturalScienceAward,givenbyAnhuiProvincialGovernmentofChina.
